CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 36 holes; stroke play.
Thursday, August 27: Round 1 (18 holes).
Friday, August 28: Round 2 (18 holes).
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs with a Handicap Index of 5.4 or less at the time of registration who are members of a current SCGA public or affiliate club. Entrants who are listed on a private or semi-private club’s roster must also be listed on a public or affiliate club roster to be eligible.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 7, 2026
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, August 16, 2026
CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages, will be emailed and posted on scga.org after the entry deadline.

TRANSPORTATION: Golf carts are optional at the player’s expense. There will be a maximum of two carts per group and two bags per cart. Players wishing to ride will be expected to share a cart with another player. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates).
ENTRY FEE: $250
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
